Ghost Ranch
Community Profile
Ghost Ranch is a historic ranch in the red rock area of Abiquiu. Abiquiu is where George O’Keeffe lived and received inspiration for her beautiful paintings of skulls, red rocks, and flowers. Ghost Ranch has two campuses – one in Abiquiu and one in Santa Fe. The retreat center in Abiquiu offers miles of hiking and horseback riding. There are numerous workshops throughout the year for visual arts, writing, and music. Known for its serenity and beauty, Ghost Ranch can accommodate meetings, family gatherings, and weddings. Nearby natural beauties include Abiquiu Lake, the Pedernal rock formations, the town of Abiquiu, the Rio Chama, and many neighboring rural New Mexican villages.
