"Bold Women, Translucent Expressions" Exhibition Slated for RC Gorman Gallery
September 09, 2012
For the first time, RC Gorman Navajo Gallery exhibits work by artists other than the famed Navajo artist himself.

This historical exhibition, curated by Ruth Dobbins, is an exploration of the remarkable women artists who pioneered the studio art glass movement in New Mexico. Dobbins is the long-time owner of Aliento Glassworks and School located south of Santa Fe. She, herself, has been instrumental in the shaping of the studio glass movement in New Mexico.

This exhibit is one of a series presented by Taos Institute of Glass Arts (TIGA) during its 2012 TAOS ART GLASS INVITATIONAL. Exhibits will be held in galleries throughout Taos.
